When students qualify for ELP services in the Visual Arts, they may participate in the ELP art programing offered at your child’s school. This program may include weekly art instruction and information about art opportunities at your child’s school and within the community.

Visual art studies begin this year with a design project reviewing and applying elements of design followed by two long-term Ecology-themed projects. In our fall project, students will apply observation skills, drawing and painting skills. As we move into spring, we will continue to explore ecology through a sculptural mask project. Our studies include a morning at the Belfast Waterfall Arts Center on October 23 to explore the current show and create visual artworks inspired by this exhibit.
